The robot, created by Promobot, speaks several languages and knows the basics of the educational program.

Promobot V4 started working at the State Petroleum Technological University, one of the leading oil universities. The robot advises students and guests of the institution, so now it is possible to improve the learning process and make it more interactive.

Promobot V.4 is a service robot made for crowded places. The robot has an ability to serve as a counselor, administrator, as well as a guide or teacher. The robot is 80% made of domestic components. It is fluent in multiple languages and easily memorizes a large amount of information. Promobot can be adapted to the peculiarities of any educational program, as well as remember the faces of students and teaching staff.

“Personalized learning can be considered as one of the major benefits of robotics utilization in education. The robot, with its advanced technology, will facilitate the educational process by offering students access to innovative teaching methods and technical knowledge. This is an important step in the development of modern educational practices at the university, as it provides students with unique opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills,” Oleg Kivokurtsev, Promobot Development Director commented.

Through interactive educational methods like teaching cases and visual presentations, the robot can make the learning process more interesting and easier to understand. Studies indicate that interactive techniques facilitate better learning. Moreover, robots can take on the role of mentors for students, offering them extra support and resources, which is especially significant in technical areas.

Promobot was founded in 2015 in Perm. The company has been a resident of Skolkovo since the same year. Today, Promobot is the largest manufacturer of autonomous robots in Europe. Promobots work in 45 countries around the world as administrators, promoters, consultants, guides and concierges, replacing or supplementing ‘real’ employees. Promobot robots can be seen in Sberbank, the Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, MFC, Baltimore-Washington Airport, Dubai Mall.
