The robot introduces visitors to the center and helps employees.

Promobot, a robot manufacturer, has developed a robot tour guide. Promobot conducts introductory excursions for people who visit the Training Center for the first time. This solution can effectively build a system to help specialists who are just beginning their professional retraining.

The educational organization’s main objective is to offer training and continued education opportunities for employees, engineers, specialists and managers working in the chemical and mining fields, as well as related industries.

On our website, you can explore use cases of robots in various business sectors and submit a request for consultation regarding purchase and delivery.

The robot is both an employee and an interactive exhibit. The tour guide will be able to perform the following tasks: display promotional materials on its screen, communicate and answer questions, and conduct tours of the training center.

A robot tour guide assumes the distinct roles of both employee and information exhibit. It is capable of performing a variety of tasks such as displaying promotional materials on its touchscreen, interacting with visitors and answering their questions. The robot will inform guests about the training program and various events in an interactive and easy-to-understand way,” comments Oleg Kivokurtsev, Promobot Development Director.

Exclusively for the project, the company’s engineers along with representatives of the Training Center have developed a broad linguistic base. Thus, the robot knows literally everything about the place where it works. Its key functions are adapted to the peculiarities of the educational institution in order to create a comfortable adaptation of students.

Promobot was founded in 2015 in Perm. The company has been a resident of Skolkovo since the same year. Today, Promobot is the largest manufacturer of service robots in Europe. Promobots work in 45 countries around the world as administrators, promoters, consultants, guides and concierges, replacing or supplementing ‘real’ employees. Promobot robots can be found in major banks, museums, airports and shopping centers all over the world.
