Robot Promobot debuted at Patio Paulista, on the main street of Sao Paulo – Avenida Paulista. The robot tells about tourist sites nearby and entertains visitors longing for exhibitions and shows. During the first week, Promobot has already communicated with more than 3,000 visitors.

The robot is located on the second floor of the shopping center. Its task is to conduct an interactive show for visitors. The robot advises clients, helps with navigation, and entertains guests.

– Main tasks of our robots are to draw attention and communicate with visitors. One of the largest shopping centers in Brazil has found an excellent application for our products. The robot tells about tourist sites nearby and entertains visitors longing for exhibitions and shows, — says CBDO of Promobot Oleg Kivokurtsev.

Patio Paulista is one of the most popular shopping centers in Brazil. The great location of the center makes it attractive for both tourists and locals. The most significant feature of the center is that it is one of the few centers that continued to work during the pandemic. According to the developers, that is why the center embraces new technologies that can replace a person and improve the safety of employees.

The robot continues to work in the pilot mode for now. In case of successful tests, the company and the center can make a $50.000 deal. For effective test performance, the specialists of Promobot and Patio Paulista trained the robot for the main areas of the center’s activities, installed a linguistic database in Portuguese, and set up a Brazilian accent.

Promobot was founded in 2015 in Perm. Today, Promobot is the largest manufacturer of autonomous service robots in Europe. Promobots work in 43 countries as assistants, greeters, managers, assessors, and concierges, assisting and performing various workplace tasks. Promobot robots work in banks, civil service offices, Dubai Mall, BWI Airport, and other locations worldwide.
