At the scene of the death of the robot from an accident with an unmanned vehicle was created a memorial and the candles were lit.

At the annual CES 2019 exhibition, during the preparation for it, an unmanned car Tesla knocked a Promobot robot. The accident happened at a time when the engineers of Promobot, a participant of the exhibition, were carrying out the transportation of robots to the exhibition pavilion. During the movement, one of the robots drove into the roadway, and then was hit by a Tesla car. As a result, the robot suffered critical damage and failed.

A Promobot robot was killed by a self-driving Tesla car

Jan, 6 2019. A self-driving Tesla Model S hit and destroyed an autonomous Promobot the robot model v4 in Las Vegas in a car accident. The incident took place at 3000 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas.

At 7 pm the Promobot’s engineers transported robots to the Vegas’s Congress Hall to prepare their booth at the CES-2019. All the robots were moving in a line. But one of them missed its way and drove to the roadway of the street parking lot. At that moment it was hit by a self driving Tesla car.

Robot from Cleveland will warn shooting in US schools

Developers from Cleveland create software for a service robot, so that he recognizes the weapon from passing by and warns shooting in schools. If the robot sees the weapon, it alerts and sends notifications to the police and parents.
